Hi, I’m BECKY.
My path to clinical counseling follows a twenty-year career in organizational change management within the federal government — a background that deeply shapes my understanding of human systems, patterns, and the heavy weight of responsibility. Today, my practice is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find a secure base within themselves and their most important relationships. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, managing the daily pressure of anxiety, or seeking to restore harmony in your relationships, I provide a collaborative, relationally-oriented space where you can step out of over-responsibility and move toward meaningful healing.Fig Tree Counseling is inspired by a steady fig tree that grew in the backyard of my childhood home. It was a place of curiosity, nourishment, transformation, and abundance. In therapy, the fig tree represents both shelter and strength. My goal is to ensure your roots are healthy and nourished so your growth — personally, professionally, and relationally — can be fruitful and sustainable.I am committed to providing an identity-affirming environment for all. My practice is intentionally inclusive of queer, trans, and gender-diverse individuals, as well as those navigating ethically non-monogamous (ENM) and polyamorous relationship structures.Behind the name

Before transitioning into clinical counseling, I spent nearly twenty years guiding federal organizations and leadership teams through large-scale transformation and change. My work centered on a human-first approach to complex systems — navigating group facilitation, strategic communication, and the intense stress that accompanies major professional transitions.
This deep corporate background gives me a first-hand understanding of workplace burnout, organizational pressure, and the unique challenges faced by professionals and leaders. I bring this structural, systems-oriented lens directly into our therapeutic work, helping you navigate your own personal and professional evolutions with steady, practical guidance.
